Experimenting with relief and textures, and looking at use of symbolism, I was challenged to show more of myself in my
self portraits.

tonal qualities in this piece come from photo-copies of a cartoon by Leonardo (see above).
This particular work represents all the
babies I lost before I could hold them, and the healing processes that have shaped my perspective and personality - for better or
for worse!
